Remodel Wiring

Kitchens, basements, additions.

Remodel wiring is where good electrical work either makes a project smooth or holds it up for weeks. We handle rough-in and finish for kitchens, baths, basement finishes, additions, and ADUs — laying out circuits with the general contractor, fishing walls with minimal drywall damage, and hitting inspection dates so the rest of the trades keep moving.

During rough-in we set boxes, run home runs to the panel, add the dedicated circuits code requires for countertop, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, and range locations, and plan lighting layouts that actually light the space — layered recessed cans, under-cabinet strips, dimmers, and switching that makes sense when you walk in with your hands full.

At finish we trim out devices, hang fixtures, program dimmers, verify every circuit under load, and label the panel so the finished project is documented. Older homes often need a few surprises addressed along the way — knob-and-tube remnants, ungrounded circuits, aluminum branch wiring — and we price those corrections openly rather than burying them mid-job.
